We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our team at St Joseph’s.
We are a friendly and aspirational school, rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2022. Our staff team share a vision of enabling every pupil to ‘SHINE’ and we are looking to appoint an energetic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our St Joseph’s family.
All about the role:
We wish to appoint a classroom Teaching Assistant to be based in either KS1 or KS2 but with the flexibility to cover any year group when needed.
This temporary appointment is for one year in the first instance but may be extended if funding allows.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children
- Is resourceful, enthusiastic, self-motivated and shows initiative and creativity
- Is committed to excellence
- Is able to communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils
- Has good personal organisation and time management skills
- Is reliable, shows integrity and understands confidentiality
- Is able to work effectively as part of a team
- Is supportive of the school’s Catholic ethos
- Has patience and understanding as well as a sense of humour
