Hours of work: Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9am to 4.30pm Fridays with some flexibility over start and finish times.

All about the role:
Corsham Town Council is seeking an organised, proactive and community minded Administration Officer to join our friendly team. This part time role (22 hours per week) is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied position where no two days are the same.
You will provide high quality administrative support across the organisation, helping to prepare Council Agendas and Minutes, maintain records, support committee work and assist with the coordination of meetings, events and bookings. The role also includes responding to public enquiries in person, by telephone, email and social media, ensuring residents receive a helpful and professional service.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, proven experience in office administration and confidence using IT. You will be well organised, accurate, able to prioritise workloads and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with local government and Minute taking would be an advantage, though not essential.
