Kington St Michael CE Primary School is a small village school located just outside Chippenham. We are a popular school in an attractive rural setting, where expectations are high and standards consistently good. KSM is “a Good school” (Ofsted, February 2025).
Role responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to assist with the day-to-day organisation of the After School Club. You will be responsible for providing care and supervision of children attending the club and the initiation of high quality play activities for children aged 4 to 11, in a safe and secure environment. Ideally you will have had some experience of working in a school.
- Support the Club Leader in all aspects of the running of the clubs
- Prepare and provide refreshments to children attending clubs
- Organise and lead safe, creative and appropriate play activities for the club
- Ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times
- Be patient and understanding when working with children
- Be self motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Administer basic first aid, training will be provided
