Overview

The Stores department is keen to promote excellent team work by employing people who have a positive attitude.

By achieving this, the department is in the best position to supply the meals department in an efficient manner.

We aim to not only achieve our targets but improve on them as well.

  • This position is 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00
  • £15.93 per hour + Bonus + Benefits

Our meals are expertly crafted by our dieticians and chefs, and then frozen to lock in the goodness.

Wiltshire Farm Foods, our sister company, is the UK's largest ready meal supplier cooking and delivering over 330 different delicious frozen ready meals across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • To unload, QA check, and put away raw materials using SAP WM.
  • To pick and replenish raw materials into production PSA Using SAP WM.
  • To dispatch finished goods ensuring balanced loads and pallet weights logged.
  • To maintain yard and external storage areas.
  • It is also expected that an operator in this area would be able to work in other areas in the Low Care area as required.
  • Products must be picked to the correct weight and batch codes supplied.
  • To assist QA/QC with any traceability and blocked stock issues.
  • Inform the person running the area if you think there is a potential issue with the quality of the product.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Follow safe working practices.
  • Assist if required with risk assessments.
  • Report any accidents or dangerous occurrences.

Qualifications/Personal Qualities

Essential

  • Knowledge of how to use a Computer system.
  • Must be methodical in working as well as a good standard in Mathematics.

Desirable

  • Reach Truck, Counter balance and PPT vehicle licenses.(training can be provided).
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems as well as SAP Warehousing/scanners.

Personal Qualities

Essential

  • A good people skill as the Team interacts with many internal and external customers.
  • A Team player.

Desirable

  • Previous experience with the interaction with people from a previous back ground.
  • Proven ability of working within a Team.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimumrequirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
