We are recruiting for a Football Development Officer (Disability and Male Pathway) to join our motivated and successful team. The person joining us will lead the work to deliver Disability and Male Pathway and will play a part in the wider delivery of activity in support of ‘Our Purpose’: To improve the experience of all involved in Wiltshire Football, and to extend our reach to deliver positive change through football in Wiltshire.

We are the not-for-profit, governing body of our national sport in Wiltshire. We grow participation, promote diversity and regulate the sport for everyone to enjoy. Wiltshire FA is proud to support ‘Football For All’. We are based at a purpose-built football ‘hub’ facility in Devizes. And, we have advanced plans to operate a second site in Swindon (during 2027) and are actively looking for further locations for a further football-led facility in the county.

The successful candidate will report to the Football Development Manager.

Job Purpose

  • To support delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Wiltshire FA Business Strategy.
  • To strategically coordinate disability football provision across Swindon and Wiltshire.
  • To influence and support the growth and retention of disability football.
  • To develop and deliver a sustainable plan for growth and quality across the male football pathways.
  • To support the development and increased participation in Walking Football across the county.
  • To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance that are in place from time to time.
  • To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football.
  • To support colleagues and the organisation in the delivery of the purpose of Wiltshire FA.
