A bit about us: We are a welcoming and caring primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Situated in the picturesque village of Keevil, Wiltshire, we are proud to have strong links with our local community and St Leonard’s Church. All about the role: Keevil Church of England Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our before/after-school provision, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves planning and organising a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
- Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;
- Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
- Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
- Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
- Has a positive and flexible attitude;
- Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
- Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
