The predicted salary is between 24414 - 24414 £ per year.

Salary: £12.65 per hour (£24,414 pro rata per annum)

Hours of work: Part Time (15 hours per week, 7.35am until 8.35am and 3pm until 5pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training Days)

Contract type: Permanent

A bit about us: We are a welcoming and caring primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Situated in the picturesque village of Keevil, Wiltshire, we are proud to have strong links with our local community and St Leonard’s Church. Our staff are committed to ensuring that all children in our care grow and flourish, achieving both their academic and personal potential so they leave school as the best readers, mathematicians and writers they can be, combined with an understanding of health and fitness in body and mind. Rated ‘Good’ at our most recent Ofsted inspection, we are part of the Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education.

All about the role: Keevil Church of England Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our before/after-school provision, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves planning and organising a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
  • Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;
  • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
  • Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
  • Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
