About the role

Join our HR case management team and play a pivotal role in addressing and resolving employee relations issues! Our HR case management teams are dedicated to providing professional HR advice and expertise to managers and schools, using a proactive approach to interpret employment law and internal policies. As a Senior HR Case Adviser, your goal is to expedite decision-making and resolve cases efficiently, benefiting both the council and schools. You will provide expert advice on complex employee relations, support council changes, liaise with legal teams, mentor staff, communicate policy changes, and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective HR management and compliance with employment laws.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a CIPD Level 5 intermediate certificate in Human Resources, extensive workforce experience, and in-depth knowledge of employment law and local government practices. This position comes with a 10% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
