All about the role: St Johns Catholic Primary School, Trowbridge, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our caring and dedicated team. Guided by our mission, We grow and learn in the footsteps of Jesus, we are looking for someone who will help create a safe, happy and nurturing lunchtime environment where every child feels valued, respected and supported.
The successful candidate will lead and support our Midday Supervisory team in the hall, including:
- Drawing up rotas and organising cover for absence
- Dealing with incidents involving first aid, behaviour and pupil wellbeing
- Supervising children in the dining hall whilst eating
- Driving the clean down after the lunch service, including loading/unloading the dishwasher
The role also includes:
- Reporting concerns
- Communicating important information to class teachers and senior leaders
- Supporting the implementation of the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Liaising with senior leaders regarding training needs and the ordering of equipment
