Do you have a passion for helping others to improve their health? If so, join the Wiltshire Health Improvement Hub, where we work to reduce health inequalities by helping residents across Wiltshire to live healthier and more active lives.
As a Health Coach, you will work as part of our team, providing one-to-one health coaching and delivering healthy lifestyle group programmes across the county. You will also work with colleagues across the Council and with community partners, contributing to broader projects enhancing the health and wellbeing of Wiltshire residents.
We are looking for compassionate and self-motivated individuals with experience of community engagement and helping others to make positive behaviour change, to join our supportive and dynamic team. Good IT skills, accurate data recording, and the ability to manage your own time and caseload are essential.
Ideally you will hold a Level 3 Health Training/Coaching qualification, though training is provided and we welcome applicants with relevant experience, along with a strong understanding of health improvement and behaviour change interventions. This role is based in the Salisbury and southern Wiltshire area. Whilst most of your work will be done within core business hours, this role does require some evening and weekend work. Travel across Wiltshire is required, therefore access to your own vehicle is essential.
These roles are available on a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility to extend.
