The predicted salary is between 44075 - 45091 Β£ per year.

Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week

Contract type: Temporary - 1 year fixed term contract (or until return of substantive postholder) - maternity cover.

All about the role: As a Corporate Assurance Officer in our Service Improvement department you will:

  • Lead on the co-ordination of the HMICFRS inspectorate programme for the Service, acting as the main Service contact to the inspectorate.
  • Oversee the annual internal audit programme Service wide, liaising with auditors and senior managers to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place and audits are completed within expectations.
  • Support the Services approach to Risk Management and be the point of contact across the Service.
  • Deliver audits and assurance work that support good governance across the Service.

What makes you our ideal Corporate Assurance Officer?

  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent qualification, or able to demonstrate significant level of graduate calibre experience at a senior level in a relevant sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of assurance and corporate governance and risk management.
  • Knowledge and working experience of inspections and/or audit processes.

Other Information: You must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role. There may be an occasional need to travel to Service locations across Dorset & Wiltshire.
