The predicted salary is between 13.45 - 13.75 Β£ per hour.

Salary: 27,976 - 28,600 Per Annum 13.45 - 13.75 per hour + 60 per sleep

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Contract type: Full time, permanent

All about the role: Work in a children's home that makes a positive, lasting difference to children's lives. This role is ideal for experienced Residential Workers or Youth Workers, as well as those with no previous experience who are looking to build a career in residential care. We are looking for determined, caring and thoughtful people to become long-lasting, significant adults in a child's life, and this could be the role for you.

  • Is 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
  • Is caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with others.
  • Has a valid manual driving licence.
  • Has the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Previous experience is not essential for this role.

Our Skills to Care induction includes 2 separate weeks of classroom-based training and a week of shadow shifts to prepare for the new role.
