Salary: £28,142 - £29,540 (pay award pending) Per annum

Hours of work: The normal working hours for this post are 8am to 4pm Mondays to Thursdays, 8am to 3.30pm Fridays. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required.

Contract type: Full-time permanent

All about the role: At Corsham Town Council, our vision is to build an engaged, inclusive and welcoming community. We’re looking for a proactive and community minded Neighbourhood Services Technician to support the care, maintenance and presentation of our beautiful town. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll help maintain parks, open spaces, allotments, cemeteries and town assets, as well as support highways and environmental maintenance duties. From gardening and grounds work to litter picking and street sweeping, you’ll have an opportunity to make a visible difference. You’ll work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team, using a range of tools, vehicles and equipment to keep Corsham safe, tidy and welcoming.

We’re looking for someone motivated, reliable and adaptable, with good communication skills and a positive attitude to learning. A full driving licence is essential, and experience in grounds or highways maintenance, horticulture or the use of small machinery would be an advantage.
