As the legal foundation for different Council teams, you'll play a crucial role in providing legal insights, across an engaging blend of cases. We pride ourselves on having a positive, collaborative team culture where knowledge‑sharing, mentoring, and mutual support are strongly encouraged.
Based primarily at County Hall in Trowbridge, the role offers hybrid working arrangements to ensure the right equilibrium for you and the service, and there may be occasions where you need to attend court in person. Extensive experience is not a requirement – we're interested in potential. If you're adept at research, analysis, and communication, coupled with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, you're exactly the person we're seeking.
This includes applications from candidates who are in the process of completing their qualifying work experience and SQE qualifications as a Solicitor or those who are scheduled to qualify as a solicitor within the next six months. This position comes with a 15% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
