Job Description
Salary: Grade H15 – H17 for TA £30,559 – £32,654 pro rata and B2 for MDSA £23,656 pro-rata
Hours: 18 in total (14 as HLTA, 4 as MDSA)
Contract: Fixed Term to 21.07.26 with a possibility to amend/extend contract pending organisational review.

All about the role:
We are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to provide support to pupils in Key Stage 2, based at our Upper Site in Brinkworth.
We need someone who is committed to helping children to achieve their full potential, and who will be a positive role model for pupils, whatever their needs and abilities. The successful applicant will have relevant work experience with Primary aged pupils. The role will include some periods of supporting the whole class, and some periods of working with small groups on targeted activities and teaching. Experience in teaching maths and prior experience of and Emotional, Literacy, Support Assistant role would be an advantage.
The role will have the following working pattern:
Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri Total 8.30 – 12 8.30 – 12 8.30 – 12 8.30 – 12 14 hrs HLTA 12-1 12-1 12-1 12-1 4 hrs MDSA
Teaching Assistants support as MDSAs 12 noon until 1pm each day, Monday to Friday. Our MDSAs support pupils during the lunchtime period, working with the other MDSAs to ensure that the lunchtime period runs smoothly and that the children benefit from positive play opportunities.
This role is based at Upper Site supporting Key Stage 2 pupils; however, some degree of flexibility is required in order to provide support where it is needed most.
