Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Occupational Therapist with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience. You are passionate about delivering high-quality, customer-centric services and are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, are literate, numerate, and have good computer skills. As a self-starter, you can prioritize work, challenge professionally, and are well-organized. A valid full UK driver's license is required for this role.
What the Job Involves
As part of the reablement team, you will undertake strengths-based occupational therapy assessments and manage a busy caseload, including complex and challenging cases. The role involves working collaboratively with clients, their families, and various partners to design and implement creative reablement plans aimed at achieving individual goals and promoting independence. You will conduct risk assessments, deliver professional supervision and support to other team members, and uphold standards of practice as determined by regulatory bodies. Additionally, you'll contribute to team development, document therapy and reablement contacts, and ensure compliance with social care and housing legislation.
