Wiltshire Reablement – Empowering Independence

Become a pivotal member of our Reablement Team and have a positive impact on individuals’ lives following illness, injury, loss of confidence or hospital admission.

Reablement offers Occupational Therapists the unique opportunity to work proactively with customers in their own homes to achieve greater independence, promote their well-being and minimise long-term care needs.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct strengths-based assessments, work with customers and their families to design and implement creative reablement plans to enable them to achieve their goals.

The occupational therapy role is highly valued within Wiltshire Council, and we provide a unique opportunity to work in a team managed by an occupational therapist in a service that offers a range of opportunities for career progression including regular training, coaching and leadership programmes.

We’re looking for applicants who hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy, along with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience. Holding a valid full UK driver’s license is essential, as you’ll be conducting visits to clients in their own homes or other settings, such as hospitals.
