The predicted salary is between 25185 - 25185 € per year.

Salary: £13.05 per hour (£25,185 pro rata per annum)

Hours of work: Part time (12 hours 30 minutes per week, 3:00pm until 5:30pm Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days)

Contract type: Fixed Term (until 31st August 2026)

We are a small and convivial primary school with Christianity at our heart. Situated in the charming village of Chapmanslade, Wiltshire, our school is an inclusive place where every member of our school community shows love to their neighbour by demonstrating compassion, service, courage and trust. Our staff recognise all pupils as individuals, celebrating their strengths and differences, and supporting our young learners to achieve their full potential, experience personal successes and thrive in all that they do. In March 2023, we were proud to be confirmed as a good school by Ofsted and recently joined Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to improve local education, collaborate with schools and draw on collective experience.

All about the role:

Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our after-school provision, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves planning and organising a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
  • Has experience of working with children in a play/educational setting;
  • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
  • Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
  • Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
