All about the role:
Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day-to-day operations of our before-school provision. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
- Has experience of working with children in a play/educational setting;
- Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
- Is a strong team player;
- Has a positive and flexible attitude;
- Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
- Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
