As a result, we are now looking for a Senior Performance Analyst to play a key role in turning data into insight and insight into action.

This is a pivotal role within an ambitious, inclusive, and values-driven council. You will act as a trusted link between managers, Heads of Service, and Directors, understanding what they need to know, translating complex data into clear insight, and providing constructive challenge that supports better decision-making. Your work will shape service improvement, statutory compliance, and real-world outcomes for adults and communities.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across services and key partner organisations. You will lead on the delivery of robust performance reporting, high-quality statutory returns, and insightful analysis across Adults and other services. Using your communication skills, you will present insights clearly and concisely, informing senior leaders what the data is really telling us while advising how to provide constructive solutions.

We’re particularly keen to hear from people with strong experience in the delivery of statutory returns, including CLD and ASCOF, alongside a solid understanding of case management systems, with knowledge of Adult Social Care. You should be confident and experienced in using Power BI and SQL to build reports that are clear, easy to understand, and designed with simple, intuitive navigation, supported by the wider Microsoft stack of data tools. You will be comfortable collecting, validating, and presenting complex datasets, with a strong focus on data quality and usability.
