The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 £ per hour.
Salary: Teaching Assistant Grade E SCP 6 to 8 £13.05 to £13.47 per hour. Cover Supervisor Grade F SCP 9 to 11 £13.69 to £14.36 per hour.
Hours of work: 13.00-15.00 Monday to Friday, Term time only, 26 hours, 15 mins per week (2hrs a week paid at Grade F). There may be some flexibility around start and end times.
Contract type: Fixed Term for one year. This may lead to a longer term contract.
A bit about us: At Redland School, we believe in developing and nurturing the whole child. Each child is unique, which is something we celebrate and value as a school. The core skills of English and maths are extremely important, but they alone do not define a child. Providing a curriculum which is enriching and broad, which stimulates interest and curiosity is integral. Alongside this, we actively promote being healthy and as active as possible. We were judged to be Good by Ofsted in January 2022.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled teaching assistant to join our supportive team.

- Is passionate about working with children to support their development
- Is an excellent team worker
- Understands the importance of safeguarding as part of their role
- Has experience working with children
- Has good standards of maths and English
- Has an understanding of the systematic approach to the teaching of phonics
- Can build positive relationships and relate well to children and adults
- Can be adaptable to the needs of the children, and is confident to use their own initiative
- Will support and work closely with the class teacher and SENCo
