Hours of work: 21 hours, 8.45am - 1.45pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 10.45am - 1.45pm Tuesday and Thursday (38 weeks per year)

All about the role:
We are seeking to appoint an assistant cook to work alongside our current assistant cook to cover a staff member's maternity leave. Duties will include:
- Preparation and serving of daily meals which cater for different dietary requirements as appropriate
- Liaising with the Headteacher to agree nutritious menus for the term
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are adhered to
- Managing stock rotation and providing weekly orders to the school office
- Implementing a whole school healthy schools approach

The successful applicant will work within the main school kitchen alongside our current Assistant Cook. This is a busy working environment and will require the operating of catering machinery and equipment. We encourage a visit to our school; nothing sells a school like the people who make it.
