About the role
The System and Establishment Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and developing Wiltshire Police’s people systems and establishment data, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement in line with organisational priorities.
This role combines establishment management, HR system administration, and process improvement. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for HR system queries, coordinate changes to people and post data, and lead on HR system development and user support.
The role will support the Force by delivering reliable data for workforce planning, whilst embedding system improvements that drive efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
What you will be doing
- Maintain accurate establishment and workforce data.
- Process employee and post changes.
- Reconcile data and produce workforce reports.
- Provide HR systems support and troubleshooting.
- Manage system access and data security.
- Lead system updates, testing and improvements.
- Create user guidance and support training.
- Ensure GDPR compliance and data integrity.
- Support statutory workforce data returns.
- Work with internal teams and external suppliers to improve HR systems and workforce planning.
About you and your experience
- Previous experience in HR/People Services environment
- Experience in financial or establishment-related work
- Experience of using and maintaining HR systems
- Experience in auditing, analysing and reconciling data
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal departments
