About the role
This is an ideal opportunity to gain multi-agency partnership experience within a police team. There is an expectation of office working alongside our partners. This is an opportunity to be part of a multi-agency team working to share information in a timely manner, responding quickly to safeguarding concerns to protect children at risk from harm. You will be providing proportionate and effective research of Police information for use at multi-agency discussions and in response to external agency enquiries. Applicants will need to be highly motivated and must be able to demonstrate personal responsibility to deliver high standards of professional practice with an essential knowledge of vulnerable adult procedures. The successful applicants will be line managed within the Vulnerability Directorate reporting structure.
Essential Criteria
- Must have experience of risk assessing and managing risk
- Must have experience of working with external stakeholders
- Must have police knowledge or child protection knowledge
- Knowledge of Niche
- Knowledge of statutory child protection legislation or guidance (desirable)
