What We Offer
  • Salary: £15,149 per year - Your hourly rate of pay will increase within your second year of apprenticeship from the national apprenticeship wage to the national minimum wage for your age group.
  • Contract Type: This is a fixed term, two-year level 2 apprenticeship study programme, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, including 1 day per week at college.

What You'll Do
  • Support the day-to-day running of the College farm.
  • Assist with livestock care, including learning how to milk, feed, handle health checks, and welfare routines of dairy cows, sheep, and beef animals.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (with full training provided).
  • Help with crop production, land management, and seasonal farming activities.
  • Work closely with experienced farm staff to support teaching, demonstrations, and student learning.
  • Follow health & safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards at all times.
