All about the role: Frogwell Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed Interim Resource Base Leader to lead our Complex Needs Resource Base (CNRB). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate teacher to play a key role in shaping high-quality provision for pupils with complex learning needs within a supportive and inclusive school community.
The Interim Resource Base Leader will provide professional leadership and direction for the Complex Needs Resource Base, ensuring pupils receive outstanding provision and make strong holistic progress. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will lead teaching, learning, assessment, and inclusion within the CNRB, while promoting meaningful links with mainstream provision.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on teaching expertise and offers the opportunity to make a significant and lasting difference to pupils' lives during this interim period.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
- Is an excellent classroom teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive practice
- Has experience of working with pupils with SEND, including complex learning needs
- Has a secure understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes, including Annual Reviews
- Can provide clear leadership and professional guidance to staff
- Is committed to high expectations, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
- Is reflective, collaborative, and keen to continue developing professionally
Experience of working within a specialist resource base or leading SEND provision is desirable, but we also welcome applications from candidates ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
