Horningsham Primary School is looking for an excellent Teaching Partner to join our friendly and supportive team from September 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in our thriving village school, set in the unique grounds of the Longleat Estate, supporting children to flourish socially, emotionally and academically. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Partner (Teaching Assistant) and MDSA to join our supportive and friendly team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring and nurturing.
- Is passionate about supporting childrens learning and development.
- Has good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Can build positive relationships.
- Can work as part of a team.
- Is proactive and flexible, showing initiative in the classroom and around the school.
- Is willing to learn and reflect.
- Will be confident working with mixed-age groups, adapting support to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Experience of working with children in a school or similar setting would be desirable, but we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate transferable skills and a genuine commitment to supporting childrens learning.
