This is a home based role, but not a remote position. Regular and frequent travel across the whole of the South Wiltshire area is required to meet families in their homes, schools, and community venues.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing one-to-one and group support that strengthens families and builds resilience.
- Caring for a manageable caseload, offering tailored interventions that create lasting impact.
- Working in partnership with schools, health professionals, and community services to get families the right help at the right time.
- Championing the voice of families, advocating for their needs and removing barriers to support.

About you:
- Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in social work, family studies, youth and community work, psychology, or a related field.
- Bring experience of supporting children, young people and families, including case management and tailored support planning.
- Have strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and early intervention practices.
- Communicate with confidence and compassion, building trust with families and professionals alike.
- Organise and prioritise a busy caseload, keeping accurate records and delivering positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with schools, health services, and community partners to coordinate support.
- Be adaptable, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to empowering families.
- Able to travel independently and reliably across the South Wiltshire area to meet the demands of the role.
