An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full‑time receptionist to join House Manager Michael Stokes and our Front of House team at Wiltons on Jermyn Street, Green Park.

  • £15.40 to £17.50 per hour plus yearly bonus
  • Approx. 40 hours a week Monday to Saturday with 2 days off – flexible shifts
  • Closed on Saturday lunches, Sundays, 10 days over Christmas, 4 days over the Easter weekend and Bank holidays

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and escorting guests to their tables
  • Answering phone calls, making & cancelling reservations
  • Assisting with the daily a la carte menu and event menus by liaising with Head Chef and Events Assistant
  • Responding to email requests and enquiries
  • Building relationships with local hotel concierges & regular guests

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar, fast‑paced establishment catering for 80 to 100 covers during each service
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Motivation, commitment, and a can‑do attitude
  • Enthusiasm, drive and desire to learn
  • Knowledge of Sevenrooms, OpenTable, Quandoo, The Fork
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale software Squirrel beneficial
  • Right to work in the UK is a requirement. Sponsorship is currently not available.
