We are looking for a QC Engineer to join our dayshift team at our Port Clarence facility.
This role is subject to pre-employment checks, including alcohol and drug screening and BPSS security clearance (as part of Wilton Engineerings onboarding process).
Due to the nature of work scopes all applicants must be UK Nationals.
The successful applicant will be working on long term Prestigious Maritime projects.
Key Responsibilities To create, update and effectively communicate the requirements of the ITP.
Systematically review and put together the quality document pack and ensure the correct traceability.
To monitor project quality performance and KPIs, and chair/ carry out improvement projects for continuous improvement.
Raises and manages project Requests for Inspection (RFI); Raises and chairs project non-conformances.
To conduct quality audits.
Coordinating with Client site inspection team regarding quality matters including weekly Quality meetings.
Promote Quality within the project.

Technical
Competencies: Excellent organisational skills.
HNC or above in related discipline.
Lead Auditor 9001.
Experience in fabrication environment working in a similar role.
Familiar with processes such a 5Y and 8D.
Working Hours and Benefits 37.5 hrs per week normally working 0800 hrs
1600 hrs Monday to Thursday with a degree of flexibility.
Early finish at 1500 hrs every Friday (where hours worked prior). 25 days holiday plus statutory (with the facility to buy or sell 5 days per annum).
