We are keen to speak to Dimensional Surveyors interested in working with us on multiple long term prestigious UK Fabrication projects. All applicants will be required to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be UK Nationals and have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Dimensional Coordinator and the Senior Surveyor.
- Interpret data within spatial analyzer as part of the Wilton Engineering Dimensional Control Work Instruction.
- Carry out Shop floor surveys using appropriate survey equipment in line with the Dimensional Control Work Instruction including start up checks and self calibration.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders both Wilton Engineering and Client with regards to dimensional control.
Role Requirements:
- Preferred experience with using Laser trackers; however, use with Total stations or other survey equipment will be considered (training with Laser trackers can be provided).
- Preferred experience with Spatial Analyser software; however, use with other survey software will be considered (training with Spatial Analyser can be provided).
- Experience in fabrication/heavy industry.
- Experience in interpreting fabrication drawings and models.
Pay Rate and Working Hours:
- Dayshift 37.5 hrs per week Monday- Friday from 0700-1500 hrs £27.04 per hour basic.
- £40.56 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat 1st 4 hours) Project needs dependent.
- £54.08 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday) Project needs dependent.
