Our fully integrated manufacturing site in Loughborough manages every stage of production in‑house from raw material processing and fabrication through to welding, painting, and final assembly of bespoke acoustic units.

The role oversees the full quality verification process, reviewing approved drawings and specifications, assessing workmanship quality, validating tolerances and finishes, and ensuring all elements meet technical and aesthetic requirements. Acting as the final quality gatekeeper, the inspector raises and tracks snagging lists, ensures non‑conformances are resolved, verifies corrective actions, and confirms full compliance before sign‑off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing all approved drawings, specs, ITPs and quality requirements for fit‑out.
  • Verifying workmanship quality, alignment, tolerances, finishes, and functional performance.
  • Ensuring fixings, sealants, interfaces and safety elements comply with approved details.
  • Raising structured snagging lists, identifying defects and tracking their closure.
  • Re‑inspecting rectified works prior to acceptance or dispatch.
  • Lead internal audits throughout the audit cycle and drive continuous improvement activities in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Conduct Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) for manufactured, prefabricated, or completed items prior to dispatch or handover.
  • Approve or reject final quality status for project delivery, handover, or dispatch and maintain complete quality records.
  • Attend client, consultant, and authority inspections as the quality focal point for final work and deliveries.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong background in fit‑out or manufacturing quality control.
  • Deep understanding of inspection methodologies, tolerances, standards and ITP frameworks.
  • Assist in the safe delivery of products, adhering to all relevant safety and quality guidelines.
