Responsibilities

  • Clean, key, and seal steel units to the highest standard in preparation for spraying.
  • Apply primer and other coatings using rollers to ensure smooth, even coverage.
  • Apply filler and perform related tasks to create a perfect surface for painting.
  • Mask areas not to be painted and polish surfaces before applying finishes.
  • Accurately match colours and mix paints to maintain consistency and achieve a perfect finish.
  • Inspect completed work to identify and correct defects, ensuring top‑level quality.
  • Maintain strict compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Report progress and potential issues to the team leader, highlighting any delays.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety standards and proactively mitigate hazards.
  • Complete accurate timesheets each week, documenting hours worked.
  • Work scheduled shifts: Static (6am–2pm), Afternoons (2pm–10pm), Nights (10pm–6am).
  • Earn enhanced pay for overtime after 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in sheet metal or industrial settings.
