Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the Paint Prep team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
- Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech’s high standards.
- Oversee and participate in all aspects of paint preparation, including cleaning, sealing, priming, masking, colour matching, and quality inspection.
- Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
- Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
- Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
- Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in paint preparation, spraying, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to problem‑solve and adapt to production demands.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
Hours – Days: 6amtill2pm / Afternoons: 2pmtill10pm (15% shift allowance).
