Grade and Salary: Grade 2: £21,567 – £22,610 actual salary per annum pro rata (£25,185 - £26,403 FTE)

Working pattern: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join an already existing committed team at Wilsthorpe School. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hard‑working and passionate about supporting young people to achieve their best. The successful candidate will work in partnership with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice, policies and procedures.

The Person: Patience will be key to this role as you will be supporting students in a specific curriculum area or supporting students with varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. You will play an integral part in ensuring students with any degree of SEND meet targets and progress in line with students not on the SEND register.
