As 1st Line IT support, you will provide a valuable service as the initial point of contact for support calls to the wider firm. This role requires using initiative, working collaboratively with the rest of the team, having a positive attitude towards your work, alongside providing an excellent customer service in person and over the phone.

Work you'll be doing:

  • Logging, categorising, troubleshooting, fixing and/or escalating where applicable to 2nd line support.
  • Primary application support covering Microsoft Office as well as numerous legal applications.
  • Supporting the installation and configuration of a range of application packages, as well as performing upgrades of both hardware and software.
  • Opportunity to be involved with project work for new systems and system upgrades.

Candidate requirements:

  • Windows 10 and 11
  • Basic networking skills
  • Microsoft 365 application including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Desktop hardware components
  • Experience of any legal IT software would be useful but not essential
  • Cyber security principles

Location: The role will be based in our Salisbury office with very occasional visits to our London office; as well as the possibility of visiting our remote workers - so a clean driving licence and having your own transport is preferable.

Team you'll be joining: Our IT team consists of an IT Director, an IT Manager and 3 IT Support staff.
