Led by Ben Thornton, a Wilsons-trained partner, the team continues to grow and is looking to add talented, like-minded property litigation lawyers who have an open mind and collaborative approach to their work.

The Property Litigation team specialises in a wide range of areas, with many members recognised as leading practitioners in their fields. They are active members of several professional organisations, including The Property Litigation Association, The Agricultural Law Association and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

About the Role: This opportunity within our highly regarded Property Litigation team offers a chance to enhance your knowledge and strengthen your expertise as a legal professional.

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Likely have 2-5 years' PQE, with strong technical knowledge of general property law (both real and L&T) and, ideally, some experience in agricultural and rural property disputes;
  • Assist senior fee-earners with large, complex property disputes;
  • Manage smaller cases independently;
  • Primarily work with landed estates, farming businesses, charities and private individuals;
  • Be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines;
  • Maintain a positive, flexible attitude;
  • Possess strong communication skills;
  • Have a commercial mindset;
  • Be willing to engage in the firm’s business development efforts.
