The work you'll be doing
As a Client Onboarding Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient onboarding of new clients while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. You will be responsible for conducting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks, verifying client information, and supporting fee earners throughout the onboarding process. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Main responsibilities include:
- Carry out AML, KYC, and due diligence checks on new clients in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines and in line with Firm Policies.
- Collect and verify client identification documents and supporting materials.
- Serve as the key point of contact for the business throughout the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate client records within the firm’s practice management system.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding meetings for new clients.
- Monitor and track the progress of onboarding cases, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide support and guidance to clients as required.
