Wilson’s is a highly successful selective state school for boys, with approximately 1,300 students. We are seeking to appoint a number of cover supervisors to join our existing team, who can be called on to supervise whole classes during the absence of teachers. This role involves overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students. We are looking for people who can carry out the role in a professional, positive and proactive manner. You will be a role model who can command and promote good pupil conduct and behaviour, ideally with experience of working with children and young people. The work is casual part-time and the amount of work offered will vary according to need.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Maintain classroom safety, order and pupil conduct
- Provide a positive and proactive role model for students
- Support learning activities as directed by the curriculum and school policies
