As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Lead to bring our brand to life across social platforms and drive significant growth.
The Role
- Content Planning & Creation
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar aligned with brand campaigns and marketing goals.
- Create and star in engaging, on-brand visuals and copy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (and other relevant platforms as necessary) to grow brand visibility.
- Ensure all content reflects our brand voice, values, and messaging.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, especially within the pet and lifestyle sector, and apply relevant ideas to content strategy to drive sales, engagement, and education.
- Social Media Management
- Schedule, publish, and monitor posts across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely, friendly, and professional manner with relationship and community building in mind.
- Monitor conversations around the brand, industry, and competitors.
- Affiliate Scheme & Ambassador Program
- Manage and grow the company's affiliate marketing program, recruiting new partners and ensuring they have all necessary resources to produce exceptional UGC.
- Coordinate with brand ambassadors to ensure regular content creation, brand alignment, and product promotion and engage with dog owners across all platforms.
- Track affiliate and ambassador performance, ensuring goals and KPIs are met.
- Monthly Reporting & Analysis
- Compile monthly reports detailing social media performance, affiliate results, and ambassador activity.
- Analyse engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI to optimise future strategies.
- Monitor trends, present insights and recommendations to the marketing team and management specific to each platform.
About You
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand (pet, lifestyle, or e-commerce experience is a bonus).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong team player, able to think on your feet and jump on opportunities when they present themselves.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice.
- Confident creating and editing content (especially short-form video).
- Creative, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analysing performance and optimising content.
- Passion for pets and animal wellbeing.
