Wilsons Auctions is the largest independently owned auction house in the UK & Ireland.
We currently have a requirement in our Belfast branch (BT36 4PP) for a Full-Time Yard Operative.
The successful candidate will be based at the above site and duties will include the following:
- General Yard Duties
- Site Hygiene
- Manual Handling
- Parking weekly vehicle sales
- Sales preparation for car auctions and small tool
- Loading and unloading plant items from customers
The ideal applicant should meet the following essential criteria
- Hold a full clean UK driving licence for three years or more
- Be capable of multitasking and working under pressure in a fast paced environment
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in customer care
- Key holding
- HGV or other commercial licences
Experience
- Driving: 3 years (required)
- Warehousing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification
- HGV Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
Hours of work: 9:00am-5:30pm - 30 minute unpaid lunch.
This position is for a fixed term of 12 months
