The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
Wilsons Auctions is the largest independently owned auction house in the UK & Ireland. We currently have a requirement for a full time Mechanical Vehicle Appraiser across both Mallusk and Portadown locations in Northern Ireland.
Duties will include but not be restricted to the following:
- Inspecting vehicles prior to auction.
- Mechanical diagnosis of vehicles.
- Identifying mechanical faults, wear, damage, or failures.
- Evaluating the impact of mechanical issues on resale value.
- Conducting road tests.
- Completing repairs, or scheduling with local workshops.
Knowledge of vehicle inspection process / body shop experience.
Ability to deal with corporate clients.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good IT skills.
- Able to work under own initiative.
- Hard working and reliable.
- A flexible attitude to working hours.
Essential Criteria:
- Mechanical Experience Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with the right experience.
- Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
