Wilsons Auctions is seeking a dynamic and driven Asset Recovery Manager to join our Belfast team. This is a high-impact role focused on developing and maintaining strong relationships with Insolvency Practitioners (IPs), Official Receivers (ORs), and key stakeholders across the UK.
About The Role
As Asset Recovery Manager, you will:
- Act as the primary contact for IPs and ORs, managing asset disposal and valuation needs.
- Lead client meetings and presentations to promote Wilsons Auctions\' full suite of services.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities in the insolvency and corporate recovery sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams (property, sales, and marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Represent Wilsons Auctions at industry events and networking forums.
We\'re looking for someone who:
- Has a deep understanding of the UK insolvency and restructuring landscape.
- Can build trust-based relationships with legal and financial professionals.
- Possesses strong consultative selling and presentation skills.
- Is confident, credible, and professional in high-pressure environments.
- Has knowledge of asset categories such as vehicles, property, plant & machinery.
- Desirable third-level qualifications (not essential).
- 4+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within the automotive or insolvency sector.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Confident in delivering presentations and engaging with senior-level decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business growth.
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic workload.
- Excellent IT proficiency.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Auctioneering experience is a plus.
- MNAEA certified
- RICS certified
