We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to take up the role as a Food Service Assistant in one of our primary schools in Ascot. The role is to assist generally with the preparation, presentation, and service of a wide range of food options to a high standard, whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Tasks:
- To be able to complete minimum training as requested.
- To be able to provide good quality food preparation, following the training provided.
- To be able to work as part of a team, assisting in the successful service to our school.
- To provide excellent customer service to the students and school staff dining with us.
- It may be necessary to assist in setting up front of house, setting up the hall, and serving customers.
- General kitchen duties - cleaning, emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, etc.
Preferably you will have previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment; however, if you are keen to learn, this fulfilling role will provide full training.
Term Time Only - 38 working weeks (9.30am - 1.30pm)
We expect all staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and therefore successful completion of an enhanced DBS disclosure is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate: Ascot SL5 0NJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
