It’s a great time to join WilsonCooke – we are experiencing growth and are now looking to expand our Client Services team by hiring a creative content lead. This is a very exciting opportunity to primarily support our client accounts with clear career progression and the chance to develop your skills across all areas of the marketing mix.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months experience in a commercially orientated agency working on digital accounts and looking for an opportunity to develop and progress their career. An enthusiastic, pro‑active, driven and career focused individual is crucial for this position.
Main responsibilities- The planning, developing and managing of clients’ content strategy to improve their brand awareness, digital presence and achieve their digital marketing goals.
- Develop, manage and activate content plans across our clients platforms to drive user growth.
- The ability to create creative content for a variety of clients for all marketing channels.
- Own and lead our clients brand expression across written/visual language, campaigns, social media and graphics to ensure strong and clear brand positioning as a route to competitive success.
- Responsible for delivering creative, content & campaigns that are high quality, on‑brand for our clients and consistently delivered to a high standard across all channels.
- Lead content creation and editorial plan based around our topics of authority for our clients, ensuring all content is engaging and relevant to customer moments.
- Coordinate numerous jobs through project management, ensuring all work is on brief and delivered on schedule.
- Measure views, shares, leads generated and conversions on each piece of content, and iterate strategy based on results.
- Maintain a publishing schedule, and collaborate with our internal team and third‑party contributors to create compelling content.
- Performance marketing across all campaigns, optimising digital marketing and creative for campaigns.
- Analytics – analyse and report on performance with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics etc.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
- To develop and maintain a close day‑to‑day and productive relationship with key client contacts to develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business.
- To present/report back results to clients, identifying key trends/recommendations/best practice and opportunities for growth.
- To take ownership for any client issues, ensuring they are resolved and escalated as appropriate.
- To lead and coordinate to manage client delivery.
- Offering creative ideas to develop exciting campaigns and encourage clients to understand the importance of creativity throughout.
- Arranging meetings and liaising with clients to understand their requirements.
- Quality control of all work that is submitted to clients.
- Monitoring all stages of campaigns/jobs to guarantee that they run smoothly.
- Producing weekly updates to keep clients and peers updated.
- Ensuring that the job stays within the allocated budget.
- Administration tasks that will help to keep jobs well‑managed and organised.
- Proven track record in content writing.
- At least 4 years experience within the field.
- Strong writing, editing and creating skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities at short notice.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook.
- Driving licence and own transport.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week. We are in the process of trialling the adoption of a flexible working practice to benefit both our team, the work environment, our clients and the output of work quality.
