We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Warrington, WA1 1RX. This is a temporary position, working Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 8am to 2:30pm. This contract will be for a minimum of 3 months, starting from 23rd February 2026.
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
As our Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Pot washing
- Cleaning work surfaces and equipment
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks
- Ensuring a consistent supply of clean, safe equipment for service
- Managing waste disposal to help maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations
Occasional non-cash till duties may be required. You will work as part of a small team of three, catering for up to 150 people per day. We provide freshly prepared breakfast and lunch options, featuring a varied selection of international dishes, along with occasional themed days and special events throughout the year.
