We're currently seeking a Chef de Partie to join our team at a vibrant workplace restaurant located in Liverpool City Centre (L3). This modern and dynamic venue is just a short walk from the docks and is easily accessible via public transport. Assistance with parking passes can also be arranged if required.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm. Some flexibility will be required to support evening functions and events, with all overtime fully paid.
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout. This venue caters for up to 200 guests daily, serving breakfast and lunch featuring a diverse range of international dishes in a friendly, relaxed, yet fast-paced environment. All food is prepared from scratch using the highest quality fresh ingredients. For functions and events, the menu includes canapés, buffets, and BBQs, offering a versatile and engaging dining experience.
We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to support the delivery of a high-quality deli bar and wider food offer at this busy workplace restaurant. The successful candidate will be imaginative, forward-thinking and confident working on their own initiative, while also collaborating effectively with two front of house team members to ensure smooth daily service. This role reports directly to the Chef Manager and Head Chef, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency throughout the operation.
As our Chef de Partie, you will:
- Have excellent people skills
- Have general knowledge of food hygiene, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Be passionate about food and customer service
- Have superb culinary skills
- Have good organisational and communication skills
- Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team
- Be eligible to work in the UK
You will be able to create and develop our dishes and will assist the Chefs in creation of weekly menus. A knowledge and understanding of the importance of stock and food wastage is essential.
