We have an exciting opportunity to become our new General Assistant at one of our sites on Cambridge Science Park. Your working week will be 30 hours, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis between 7:00am to 3:30pm, offering a great work-life balance. As a General Assistant, you will support the Chef Manager with food preparation, food service, washing up, and the general cleaning of both kitchen and customer areas. You will assist in producing nutritious meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients, with a focus on delivering innovative, on-trend hot food options from Tuesday to Thursday. Throughout the week, you will also help maintain a high-quality chilled deli offering alongside a selection of freshly prepared soups, ensuring excellent standards of food quality and presentation at all times. There is clear opportunity within the role to evolve and expand the food offering over time, including the potential introduction of a breakfast service.
