We’re currently seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant workplace restaurant located in Liverpool City Centre (L3). This modern and dynamic venue is just a short walk from the docks and is easily accessible via public transport. Assistance with parking passes can also be arranged if required.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm. Some flexibility will be required to support evening functions and events, withall overtime fully paid.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
This venue caters for up to 150 guests daily, serving breakfast and lunch featuring a diverse range of international dishes in a friendly, relaxed, yet fast-paced environment. All food is prepared from scratch using the highest quality fresh ingredients. For functions and events, the menu includes canapés, buffets, and BBQs, offering a versatile and engaging dining experience.

Key duties include, but are not limited to;
- Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and food preparation, working collaboratively with the team and demonstrating excellent customer care skills.
- Supervise and support 2 Front of House General Assistants, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Assist with stock ordering, rotation, and proper food storage, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
- Support the Chef and Chef Manager with food preparation as required.
- Ensure counters and front of house areas are consistently maintained to the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Keep crockery, cutlery, and glassware clean, polished, and properly presented.
- Advise customers on menu choices and serve food appropriately, promoting a positive dining experience.
- Foster good customer relations, encouraging excellent customer care to enhance the overall restaurant experience.
- Communicate any changes or substitutions to ingredients to the Manager and all relevant staff, updating menus as necessary.
- Address all site and client personnel professionally and courteously.
- Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, following hygiene and cleaning procedures.
- Take and record temperatures of equipment and/or food as required.
- Complete allocated cleaning duties to the required standard, including equipment, walls (up to 6ft), floors, fixtures, fittings, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, and glassware, using the correct chemicals and signing cleaning schedules.
- Always wear the full, correct company uniform in a clean and tidy manner and use all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with any other duties as required by the Unit Manager and respond to reasonable requests promptly.
- Report customer complaints and take appropriate remedial action where possible.
You will be responsible for driving service standards front of house, with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and a proactive, can-do attitude. You will bring forward fresh, creative ideas to enhance the customer experience and demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team of seven. Additionally, you will manage stock takes and ordering for the Front of House.
You will have good leadership skills and experience to lead a team during a busy service.
