We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in London, EC2N 4BQ. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. There is also the opportunity for overtime with evening events.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.

The role involves delivering high-quality service across fine dining, buffet lunches, and café food service, as well as supporting client and evening functions when required. Key responsibilities include:

  • The daily cleaning and maintenance of five coffee machines
  • Replenishing free-issue biscuits and fruit
  • Servicing client meeting rooms
  • Assisting with working lunches and both formal and informal buffets
  • Supporting breakfast and lunch café service
  • Serving customers and assisting the café team on an ad hoc basis

As our Front of House Assistant, you will:

  • Have flexibility to work both front and back of house
  • Ideally have experience working in a similar environment
  • Have experience in a customer focused role
  • Maintain a professional approach
  • Be able to maintain the presentation of servery areas at all times
