Corporate Lounge Barista & Host

We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Lounge Barista & Host to join our team at one of our prestigious law firmsin London EC4A.This is a high-profile role suited to a polished and personable individual with proven barista experience and a strong hospitality background.

You will be responsible for creating a warm, professional atmosphere in a stylish business lounge, delivering an exceptional level of service to clients and guests throughout the day.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across Tuesday to Thursday, with shifts scheduled on a rota basis between 8:00am and 8:00pm.

We’re seeking someone with previous barista experience, ideally gained in a corporate, hotel, or lounge setting. You should be confident preparing and serving high-quality hot beverages, as well as basic cocktails. You will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a calm, professional manner, and be able to create a welcoming environment for both professional meetings and social interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the Business Lounge throughout the day, maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and presentation

· Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all guests and clients

· Prepare and serve barista-style coffees to a consistently high standard

· Prepare and serve a small selection of cocktails during afternoon/evening hours

· Replenish snacks and light food offerings regularly

· Create a welcoming, relaxed environment for both professional and social interactions

· Monitor lounge usage and maintain a respectful, quiet atmosphere

· Liaise with reception, catering, and facilities teams to manage stock and special arrangements

· Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally

· Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment
• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
• Have excellent customer service and social skills
• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
• Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 7
• Be customer focused
• Have basic food knowledge
• Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
